What suits better in a bedroom that a moon hidden behind the clouds. See how well the dark colors of the artwork match the bed and furniture. (Artwork not at the site but available on request)
The silver color of the vases comes back in the left wall on the artwork. The black top of the furniture, literally underlines the print. This makes it so interesting to look at.
The wood of the staircase goes so well together with the wood of the chest of drawers. This is a perfect match. The atmosphere breathes the past.
The pattern of the carpet is repeated in the in the artwork at the wall, creating the illusion of depth. Think beyond the artwork as an item. It can change the whole perspective of the room.
What if this was a wallpaper. How much optical depth it would create??
Another way of matching is combining colors. The blue chair and the blue wall in the artwork go along very well. Apart from that, the chest of drawers, chair and artwork all represent 'history'. A common theme.
